If your kids are like mine it can be challenging to get them to eat right. If I serve something that doesn’t look good to my children half of their dinner will end up on the floor. Does this sound familiar?
Fixing a healthy meal that your kids will like does not have to be time consuming. I have learned that children love chicken. chicken is high in protein and low in fat. We usually stay away from red meats and only serve lean proteins, like chicken.
Tyson recently came out with their Grilled and ready chicken Breasts. Each package is fully cooked and ready to serve. They come in strips, breasts and cubes. You can also get fully seasoned grilled and ready chicken in fajita and southwestern flavors.
The Tyson Refrigerated fully cooked Grilled chicken breast Strips, contain 100 calories per serving (serving size 3 oz) and only 1.5 grams of fat. These strips are so easy to prepare. because they are already fully cooked all you need to do is heat them up for a few minutes in the microwave or brown them on the stovetop. I served them in a delicious salad. This dinner did not end up on the floor.
Grilled chicken Caesar SaladThis quick and easy salad is a delicious option for a women’s club lunch or a light, no-cook family dinner on a hot summer evening.
1 package Tyson® Refrigerated fully cooked Grilled chicken breast Strips4 cups Romaine lettuce, diced2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated1/2 cup croutons
1. Divide lettuce between 4 plates.2. top lettuce with chicken strips and croutons, and sprinkle with cheese.
Serving Suggestion: top with prepared Caesar dressing and croutons. serve with fresh fruit. Refrigerate leftovers.
